How We Helped Greater Western Water With Environmental Monitoring Services
Out-Task Environmental provides comprehensive environmental monitoring and assessment services across Victoria, supporting organisations in meeting EPA Victoria licence requirements and ensuring long-term environmental compliance. Our work includes the development of risk-based Environmental Monitoring Plans (EMPs) tailored to site-specific conditions and regulatory frameworks.
We deliver annual groundwater, surface water, and wastewater monitoring programs that assess water quality trends, identify potential contamination pathways, and safeguard both groundwater and surface water resources. Our agronomic soil assessments focus on the performance of recycled water irrigation schemes, ensuring soil health, crop productivity, and sustainable nutrient management.
Our consulting expertise extends to integrated environmental and hydrogeological risk assessments, providing a holistic understanding of site-wide environmental performance. This includes the rationalisation and expansion of groundwater bore networks to improve monitoring coverage and data reliability, as well as the sampling and analysis of key observation bores — including the Romsey and Lancefield water supply bores (one extending to 139.5 m depth).
Through these monitoring and assessment programs, Out-Task Environmental helps water authorities and operators maintain compliance, optimise resource management, and protect Victoria’s natural water environments.
